I know, I know. It’s not even Thanksgiving yet but I just can’t help myself. I’m dying to get my Christmas decorations up but since we are hosting Thanksgiving {and I don’t have a tree yet} I’m holding off until next weekend. While I should be searching and coming up with a Thanksgiving table, I’m looking at Christmas decorations instead. #Icanthelpmyself
Christmas 2014 pt. 2
In case you missed part 1 of my Christmas 2014 recap, you can see it here. Okay…when I left yesterday, we had just finished opening presents at my parents’ house on Christmas morning. Mom popped in some cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then Cory and I headed home to shower and drop off the dogs before heading back to my parents’ for lunch with my dad’s side of the family.
Christmas 2014 pt. 1
Man, oh man…what a Christmas week we’ve had! We started our Christmas celebrations LAST Saturday and finished them up yesterday afternoon. I don’t think it gets much better than celebrating Christmas for a solid week but it’s left us exhausted and bummed about being back at work today. Not to mention, I came down with a nasty cold on Christmas night and spent the majority of the weekend sleeping. I really got the good end of that stick with just a cold though, because my mom also got sick on Christmas night and she tested positive for the flu on Friday morning. Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
Merry Christmas Eve, y’all! We’ve got a busy day full of a Christmas Eve service, Christmas at Cory’s grandparents’ house, and then heading to my parents’ house to spend the night. But first, I just had to share the pictures from our Ugly Christmas Sweater Party with our community group last Sunday. It’s been so long since I’ve laughed as hard as I did at this party. Cory and I are so blessed to be about to call these crazy people our friends. And they are crazy! You’ve been warned!
