  • Hostess,  Weekend Recap

    Weekending

Happy rainy Monday, y’all. Sure am glad that I’m at home in my pjs today especially after the busy weekend we had. linked with my girl biana Gracie spent the night on Friday and poor thing was so sick. She’s had a nasty sinus infection all week and hasn’t been able to kick it. But she was so excited about the 90’s party, she stayed up late helping us prep. We spent all day on Saturday getting ready for the party {remember I hadn’t done anything for the party before Friday night} and somehow we pulled off a slammin’ party for our community group. We probably had too much fun…

Daniel and Tiffany’s Gender Reveal Party

This past weekend, Cory’s best friend Daniel and his wife Tiffany hosted a gender reveal party for their little bun in the oven. I brought my camera {of course} and snapped some pictures for the parents-to-be. As much as I’d like to claim this party as one of mine, the decorations were all Tiffany, y’all! It was the same weekend as our Stuck on the Roof fundraiser and the other hostesses were so understanding.  They were so willing to help with a few last minute things I needed and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to get to know them all through the approximately 972 group text between us. I think…

    Rustic Bridal Shower

Happy Monday, y’all! We’re home from the SC Ride4Life a little more tired than before but our hearts are so full. There is something so telling about men and women riding 300 miles for life because “one is too many.” I will share more about the ride tomorrow but today I’m finally getting around to share the rustic bridal shower I threw for one of my oldest friends, Kristen, last weekend. Burlap, chalkboards, & old lanterns- can it get any more rustic? The beautiful bride-to-be!  Thanks to the hubs for this awesome chalkboard! UPDATE: A full tutorial on the DIY chalkboards can be found here.  First time getting flowers from Trader Joe’s and they…
