Catch up on Part 1 of our Rwanda trip here, Part 2 here, Part 3 here, Part 4 here, Part 5 here, Part 6 here Part 7 here WEDNESDAY | September 17th Wednesday started off by dropping Cory, Jarrod, and Phiona off in Kane to work on the widow’s house while VP took Amber and me to meet Gaudence at Gahanga 1 Primary School to work on the profiles. Rwanda 2014: Day 7

Catch up on Part 1 of our Rwanda trip here, Part 2 here, Part 3 here, Part 4 here, Part 5 here, Part 6 here TUESDAY | September 16th After a busy week in Nyabihu and a late night getting back to Kigali, Ben suggested that we rest Tuesday morning. We must have been way more tired than any of us thought because we didn’t wake up until almost 9am. We had another big breakfast {oh, how I miss breakfast in Rwanda!} and spent the morning playing with Ben and Josephine’s daughter, Micaiah.

Rwanda 2014 Day 6: Our Last Day in Nyabihu

Catch up on Part 1 of Rwanda trip here, Part 2 here, Part 3 here, Part 4 here, Part 5 here MONDAY | September 15th Our last day in Nyabihu was, by far, my favorite day in Rwanda. We had finished interviewing the children and were done with all the home visits we were gonna do.  It gave us the day to just spend with the kids without a bunch of work to do and every single moment was so special.

Rwanda 2014 Day 5: Church in Africa

Catch up on Part 1 of our Rwanda trip here, Part 2 here, Part 3 here, Part 4 here SUNDAY | September 14th We got to “sleep in” on Sunday and didn’t have to be at breakfast until 8:15am. I’m not sure Cory slept a wink because he was so nervous about preaching. He had himself so worked up, he couldn’t even eat breakfast. Cory doesn’t pass up meals.
