    Trusting Without Borders

via Sunday at church we sang Oceans by Hillsong and I’ve heard this song at least a dozen times on the radio but after the past two weeks, I was consumed with guilt and knew The Lord was speaking directly to me. I felt so convicted that I was overcome with emotion and couldn’t help the tears forming in my eyes and rolling down my face. So let me explain… Two weeks ago, I was finishing sealing the last 40 of our support letters when I got a call from Cory and the first thing he says is “we’ve got a problem.” A million things rushed through my head but…

    DIY Moss Letter

I’ve been looking at moss letters for months years now but I couldn’t bring myself to spend $50+ to get the size I wanted. So, what’s a girl to do? Just make one myself {for much cheaper, I must add}. And it was so easy! Since it was probably the easiest project I’ve ever done, I thought I’d share how I made it. I’m really not sure why this week went by so quickly but you won’t find this chick complaining! linked with darci, april, christina and natasha. Day light saving time. It always confuses me and I’ve sat here for the past twenty minutes trying to figure it out. I know we…

    Ombre Hair

I mentioned here that I wanted to change up my long brown locks a little and after all your wonderful feedback decided to go with an ombre look. So I called up Brittany {my long time friend and stylist} and scheduled an appointment. Brittany has been my stylist since we got out of high school and I trust her professional opinion 100% {and her honest opinion because she’ll give you that, too}.  This was her first attempt at an ombre style and it was at this point that I think we both started to wonder if it was right. Don’t worry, it was. Brittany is the bomb. The lighting in…
