Five on Friday
Happy cold, cold Friday, my friends! It’s a chilly 14 degrees here in SC today and everybody’s all “I’m so ready for summer.” C’mon, y’all…this is really the first bout of cold weather we’ve had. Stop complaining and wishing the seasons away!
ONE | This video just makes me happy.
TWO | My drive into work on Tuesday was gorgeous, before all the ice (yes that’s all ice) turned into brown, ugly slush. By the way, I can’t believe my office didn’t close on Tuesday. This was almost noon and while I’m sure this doesn’t look like much to some of my Northern friends, this is a big deal for SC. I was nervous wreck driving in it!
THREE | With the nasty weather this week, Cory and I haven’t been to the gym or to take the dogs running. What is it with this kind of weather that just makes you lazy?? Well, since Charlie hasn’t gotten much exercise, she has been a maniac in the evenings.
Doesn’t this picture just prove my point??? Well, this was after about five hours of us repeating “Charlie, get down”, “Charlie, cut it out”, “Charlie, leave Einstein alone”. Eventually, she crashes and it’s normally right on top of one of us.
FOUR | I know, I know. Another picture of Charlie. I promise, I do still have two other dogs…two very hot-natured dogs because they both have long, thick hair {if we were to let it grow out}. Well, Charlie has hardly any hair and has been freezing while going outside. Who needs a doggie vest when she can wear one of my puffers???
Also, please excuse the sheet over our furniture. It’s all a part of Charlie-proofing our house.
FIVE | I honestly don’t even remember how I won this or from whom because I got an email directly from Billion Dollar Brows but I think it was from Biana. Either way, it’s got some stiff competition because I love, love, love the easiness of the Gimme Brow Gel but who doesn’t want their brows to look like a billion dollars? I’ll let you guys know what I think about it once I have a chance to play around with it this weekend!
That’s all I got for y’all. Puppies and bad weather because that’s all that happened in my life this week.

i’m the same way with weather. sure, we’ve had some cold days, like today, but our winter has been really mild.and then it will be hot as hang, so i’ll take the chill for a little while longer, hehe.

I just laughed so loud at work at the dog video. The one where the dog doesn’t care about the frisbee is totally my dog, she couldn’t give 2 sh*ts about fetching. I also just got some brow stuff. this will be the first time shaping my brows but I never really paid attention to how out of control my eyebrows get. Whoops.

I feel so sorry for my dog going out in the cold. He loves the snow, but his paws are always freezing when he comes in! That puffer vest is hilarious on your pup! Hope you have a good weekend girl!

So you work with people like that too! Doesn’t it just drive you crazy. I always have a Buddy the Elf moment and feel like offering them a hug because obviously they must need one to wish for summer. Yuck! I will take cold weather any day, but I am like you and HATE to drive in it. We just don’t get enough practice down here with ice (because snow is way too rare), so to go to work in it is always insane. :) Your puppy video is hilarious. I will have to show Justin when he gets off work.
