Five on Friday

Happy Friday y’all! I finally feel like things are starting to get back to normal after the holidays. We are still pretty busy at work but I’m slowly getting back into a routine of working on my blog {and actually getting post done} in the evenings. It’s been awhile since I shared a Five on Friday post on an actual Friday but excited to share a few things that have made me smile this week.

ONE.

If you’re reading this post, you might have noticed my new design but did you also notice my new domain name?!?! I’m so excited to be up and running now that I’ve switched from Blogger to WordPress. Aubrey at The Kinch Life designed my new page and Chelsea at Olive & Ivy coded it for me and these ladies are AMAZING. Seriously, there were close to 100 emails exchanged between the three of us over the past couple months and the whole process was a little overwhelming for me at times but Aubrey and Chelsea  were both helpful and so easy to work with. I hope you will stay around and check out it all out!

TWO.

We’ve had so much sunshine here the past week {and 20 mph winds and freezing temperatures but plenty of sunshine} and I’ve got two puppies who have loved every second of it. On Monday, I could not get them to come inside. They just sat like this, looking around, enjoying the warmth of the sun for at least two hours. Aren’t they just precious?

THREE.

This was in my stocking on Christmas morning but it’s not a new lens…it’s a coffee mug! It’s officially the coolest mug I own and I couldn’t wait to try it out with my Chai Latte this morning.

FOUR.

On Saturday, our church is taking the youth group snow tubing and Cory and I are going to “chaperone” which is really just my excuse to get a chance to go. See, the problem is I love snow tubing {or snow anything} but Cory HATES snow. He hates being cold and wet and would be perfectly happy if he never saw it again. I’ve been dying to go skiing for a few years now and think we would have a blast if we rented a cabin somewhere up in the mountains and skied all weekend. I highly doubt I’ll ever get my cabin weekend so I’ll take what I can get and spend the day tubing with some of my favorite ONE people.

FIVE.

My sweet niece, Taylor {aka Tater} turns five this weekend. That can’t be right. Just a few days ago, she was a tiny blue eyed baby and now she is old enough to start kindergarten. Where does the time go? But seriously, it needs to slow down. Uncle Cory and I can’t wait to celebrate her big day with her.
