Oh Hey, Friday!

Oh hey, Friday! My days are all messed up this week with the snow day we had yesterday. All day I thought it was Monday which makes the fact that today is indeed Friday even better! I was too busy playing in the snow yesterday to prepare a post for today but really, snow days are always my favorite. It just doesn’t get much better than pups, family and sledding!

I was getting ready to walk out the door for work, hence the makeup because I normally would NOT put on makeup to play in the snow, when I got a text message saying the university was closed.

So I loaded up the pups and headed to my parents house to play in the snow with this cutie and bug my Mama {who was working from home} until she fed me some cornbread and pinto beans.

The snow had already began melting and we sledded {is that a word?} and made snow angels as long as we could!

This was the first time I had taken Charlie to my parents and she loved it! My parents live on about 20 acres of land and I don’t think she stopped running the entire time we were out there. The best part? She crashed hard when we got home.

I also got a lot done in my bedroom…finally got some curtains hung and the bed switched out. Maybe I’ll have it done in the next six months. Ha! So not too much on our agenda for the weekend…Cory’s doing a polar plunge in the morning and we are hoping to stay in and get a lot done around the house! Real exciting, right?!

I’ve lived in SE Texas for 3 years now but I’m originally from MN & the fact that that much snow CONSTITUTES a snow day in the south never gets old lol. I’m glad y’all enjoyed it!

Look at the snow! I wish we’d at least get a little snow in Phoenix so the dogs could play in it. But it’s sunny and 75 degrees here, so I can’t complain!
